We went to Hong Kong Wetland Park on last Monday.
It is located in Tin Shui Wai, next to the greatest ecological resources- Mai Po Natural Reserve, one of the natural heritage in Hong Kong.
Although Hong Kong Wetland Park is not a heritage, it themed as a green attraction and educational outing for us to learn more about our natural heritage of wetlands.
When we arrived there, we were amused by the spectacular view of the Park. It was such a large area surrounded by green trees and blue rivers. Together with the windy and sunny weather, we all felt relaxed to start our journey.
Generally, the Park consists of three areas - visitor facilities, Wetland Interactive World and Wetland Reserve.
We began with visiting the Wetland Reserve.
There were wide range of trees and animals that we had never seen before. Let's take a brief look of what we'd seen.
Next, we went to the Wetland Interactive World, where photo-taking is prohibited. The World interacts guests by illustrating models and playing videos and games, so that we can learn much more about the characteristics of wetlands.
Overall, I really enjoy my moments in HK Wetland Park. Hardly can we experience the natural habit in our living areas, the fresh air and green environment are worthwhile to spend a morning or an afternoon there.
If you are tired of your busy life or full of pressure, I highly recommend you to go to Hong Kong Wetland Park.
Thanks Mandy for providing the photos.
